Based on the piezoelectric effect, the piezoelectric energy harvester has a very wide application prospect with high-energy density, simple structure, low energy consumption, easy miniaturization and other advantages. At present, the piezoelectric energy harvester is rarely used in the field of power source, however various countries have expand research in this area.This paper takes the typical disc type piezoelectric energy harvester as the objective, simulates and analyses piezoelectric ceramic material with piezoelectric analysis module of ANSYS12.0and focuses on the relationship between the size (inner diameter, outer diameter, thickness), piezoelectric arrangement style, external load incentives factor and power generation capacity. Furthmore, we study effect of the metal bonding layer to generate capacity, and obtain the curve of the above law initially. According to the law of the curve, we select the appropriate piezoelectric material and metal bonding layer material, and manufacture the piezoelectric energy harvester in light of process. Next, we bury the harvester as a smart aggregate in the asphalt concrete, verifying the feasibility of light-emitting LED diode. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) In the process of designing piezoelectric vibrator, the main way of improving the output voltage is to increase the thickness of the piezoelectric materials. In order to gather more available output charge, increasing the out diameter of the piezoelectric materials or reducing the inner diameter must be a effective way. Within the allowable range of structural strength of the piezoelectric materials, external loads should be time-varying load.(2) For the purpose of improving the flexibility of the piezoelectric energy harvester, a layer of metal bonding layer is covered with on the surface of piezoelectric element.(3) Taking as a smart aggregate, the piezoelectric energy harvester is buried in the asphalt concrete, connecting the LTC3588circuit, we test the harvester’s generator capacity under the working of the crushed-type machine. Compared to the eight- parallel piezoelectric energy harvester and the six-parallel piezoelectric energy harvester, the former can drive the LTC3588, while the latter cannot.(4) In the same rut, along the trajectory of the experimental wheel, we pre-placed five of eight-parallel piezoelectric energy harvester in parallel with wires, then connect to the LTC3588circuit with LED light emitting diode, when the wheels run over the surface of the harvest, the LED lighting, which providing the experimental basis in the energy field.
