In the21th century, with the booming development of photovoltaic technology and fiber communication technology, Semiconductor laser has been widely used in many field such as industry, agriculture, national defense, biological and medical treatment. It played an important role in building and promoting the information society, because of it advantages such as low power consumption, high efficiency, and easy modulation. With Semiconductor laser in a wide range of applications, people pay more attention to its quality and performance indicator, and the expectation to it is more and more high, such as high reliability and low cost. Therefore, the research on detection technology of Semiconductor laser is very important.Based on the research of present domestic and international actualities of Semiconductor laser development, and according to the working principle and characteristics of semiconductor diodes and actual production and application needs, this paper has discussed the functional requirements of the product and analyzed the overall design goal of system, then proposed the overall design. The design is divided into two parts, one is hardware circuit design, and the other is software implementation. Key technologies of hardware circuit includes the main control circuit and its interface circuits, current controls, detecting weak light signal and low noise anti-interference measures. The design of the main control circuit is based on microcontroller LPC2134. Driving circuit is designed based on the principle of negative feedback, which can realize the current stability control. The detecting weak optical signals have the ability of design and simulation about primarily pre-amplifier circuit, gain control and other key technologies. The function of the Lower computer software is realized by the form of flowcharts. It has the ability of controlling D/A drive, collecting data, and UART communications module, and handled the threshold parameter according to the appropriate algorithm. The design of the host computer based on the environment of Microsoft Visual Studio. NET, making use of the interface to realize control and test. According to test, the system is confirmed that not only has the ability of describing V-I characteristic curve态 I-P characteristic curve and threshold parameters, but also is able to measure weak optical signal accurately and test bit error of optical module. The system can satisfy design requirements because of its standard design.
