With the development of Internet in China, more and more Internet videos are accepted by Netizens. Moreover, those video websites grow rapidly for the increases of users. However, great pressures like nonfluency of video during prime time also appear.To solve this problem, the major video websites have launched their own video accelerator, such as IKU and iTudou. But those software have a very small sphere of application or only can be used for their own website. If all installed in the computer, they would influence each other’s speed for their poor compatibility. Some accelerator like that of PPLIVE have the ability to speed up most videos while obstruct the normal operation as they occupy large resources in the background.This paper is aimed to describe the advantages and disadvantages of present video accelerator and to build a model video accelerating system based on P2CP which contains the video rankings, video search and video accelerator, through the analysis on domestic video market. Users can be informed of the hottest video as soon as possible, and enjoy the convenience of video searching for the system has covered the databases of major video website. Instead of searching on each web, users can also have time saved to choose the video they are finding. This accelerator model system is based on P2CP net work model combined CDN and P2P together. The traditional CDN streaming media system which is designed to improve the user’s access to quality through storing the video cache to cache proxy server near users, raises the operation cost of the website for the web has to add more and more servers to guarantee customer experiences as the increase of the number of users, while the traditional P2P streaming media system cannot be widely used for business with unstable performance, big random rate during node joining and exiting, and limited resources. In this research, P2P is used to reduce the number of proxy server and to increase the capability so that the overall cost of the website is decreased. On the other hand, media content is transformed to the autonomous domain of users through CDN, to improve the quality of videos. As the model system running in a smaller autonomous system range, this accelerator can effectively increase the client video speed and reduce the burden of the web server while doesn’t affect the connection speed.
