Research And Implementation On The Unified Authentication And Security Protection Of Campus Information Systems

With the rapid development of information technology, more and more universitiesincreasingly focus on the establishment of the campus informatization. The informationsystem is widely used in the research and management of the teaching in universities. Itincreases the efficiency of working and managing, and enhances the careers of universities.However, the problems of lacking unified planning and applied system being developedindependently become apparent, with the through developing of campus informatization.Therefore, making the united standards for the unified planning and making the unifiedmanagement, certification and authentication for the users are the premise and key for theestablishment of the campus informatization. This paper fulfills the unified authenticationand security protection of campus information system according to the program research.Four concrete affects are accomplished as follows.i. The main model of the unified authentication technology is illustrated in a system.The paper also introduces the concept of directory services. The currently popular unifiedauthentication technologies are analyzed and compared.ii. After analyzing the present situation of the establishment of the campusinformatization, the system model of unified authentication is proposed according to thematter of fact. The system of unified authentication is divided into data processingsubsystem, applied authentication interface subsystem, Portal Web subsystem and securitymanagement subsystem. Each system is planned and designed.iii. According to the above analysis and design, the concrete solution andarrangement are given. The authentication methods based on Agent Certification, LDAPtimestamp certification and ICE platform are provided. It also provides the concrete oraclecall interface for API invoking and Java, C#, PHP. The current applied system is integrated,and the unified user sign-on platform is provided for the users of campus net having singlesign on, which greatly improves the using efficiency and system security. iv. Considering the security, stability and other factors, the system security isdesigned and fulfilled in terms of hardware and software.The system deployment schemeis provided.
