Since the train accident of Yongwen line happened on July23rd,2011, the netizens of China have been gaming with the government in various ways, among which writing micro-blogs is the most typical one. From the process of rescue to the publication of the investigation results, the netizens have been always questioning the credibility of the government by writing micro-blogs. And "Lao Baixing"(the public) became "Lao Buxing"(always distrust) according to the reports of People’s Daily.The public trust to government is critical to politics and social stability. However, with the involvement of the Internet, more and more problems concerning to the government have been brought up to surface by the Network media just as micro-blog. More and more domestic scholars have been researching on government credibility from different perspectives, in which the definitions of government credibility, the reasons of the weakening of the government credibility and the measures to enhance it are put forward. Nevertheless among the various definitions, there is no agreed and authoritative one, and the majority of the researches were conducted from the Politic or Administration Science’s perspective. And those analytical methods and conclusions were somewhat similar. By analyzing the relationship between the government and the micro-blog in the Micro-blog’s Background, this paper tries to figure out the the concept of "Government Credibility", the reasons why government credibility being weakened and approaches of rebuilding it.
