Along with the rapid development of electronic science and technology, and the wide application of the Internet multimedia technology, digital products such as e-books, digital photos, audio and video have gradually become an important part of human’s live and play. These digital products are easy to modify and spread. It is necessary to protect the digital products copyright in order to safeguard the producers’ benefit.How to achieve this aim effectively becomes the issue people concern.Digital watermarking technology is an effective mean to solve this problem. It is based on some particular algorithm to embed the signature, serial number and other identity authentication information into digital products, and to extract the watermark information for screening identification, to achieve the purpose of protecting the property rights of the work. Imperceptibility and robustness are the main features of the digital watermark. In recent years, the development of digital watermarking technology is fast, image watermarking technology has a standard criteria, while the audio watermarking technology development process is not smooth, it is due to the the time-frequency characteristics of audio file which makes mathematical analysis of audio file are more difficult. However, with the mathematical theory developing, in particular, the maturity of the wavelet analysis theory, audition audio watermarking technology is becoming a hot spot.This paper is about digital audio watermarking technology.It contains using wavelet analysis into digital audio watermarking technology and designing digital audio watermarking system based on LabVIEW.This paper first introduces the background, the status of development and research of the digital watermarking technology. By combining the relevant knowledge of digital audio, illustrates the features of digital audio watermark technology. Make an evaluation about some digital audio watermarking algorithms.The paper after introduces the theory about Wavelet analysis.Wavelet analysis is a signal analysis tool, multi-resolution features in the domain and frequency domain characteristics of the audio signal processing at the same time has certain advantages. For the reason we will use wavelet analysis in digital audio watermarking technologyThen the paper proposes an design to embed and extract audio watermarking which is based on discrete wavelet transform. The main step of the design is:first, to decompose the segments of an audio file in discrete wavelet decomposition way, second, to embed binary image watermark information segmented in the corresponding wavelet coefficients, last, reconstruct the audio files watermarked into a whole file in discrete wavelet reconstruction way. The watermark detection has a same step as embedding algorithm of wavelet decomposition process, the final step is to process the extracted watermark information through the appropriate image file format to restore the watermark image. The watermarking algorithm can guarantee the watermarked audio can not be perceived, and the watermark information can not easily be damaged.Finally, the paper sets up an audio watermarking system using the watermarking scheme mentioned previously based on LabVIEW software platform. LabVIEW software is a new kind of software compilation tool using graphical code to compile which makes the system has a good user interface, LabVIEW can call MATLAB functions to track with complex mathematical calculations, so the compile process becomes more quick and effective. Software evaluation confirmed that the system implements digital audio watermark embedding and extraction operations correctly, and through the analysis of the data before and after the watermarked audio files proves that the watermarking system meets the standard requirements of the watermarking technology.This issue is related to the operation of the audio watermarking technology, and is an exploration of developing the practical application of the software product. Results of the research has a positive significance to promote audio watermarking system product.
