With the development of our society and wide applications of software in mainstreamindustry, the detection industry has changed significantly and new management standard hasbeen introduced. As a result, many new detection methods and structures have beendeveloped. But due to the wide variety of methods and complicacy of relevant processes, theexiting management software can not meet current demands. Besides, the traditional detectionmanagement procedure is costly and time-consuming. So it becomes very crucial to developan effective and unified management system for project detection and management. Thispaper designs a system to promote the computerization of detection management industry, aswell as digital management of equipments, staff and departments, so as to improve theefficiency of detection, and to update relevant detection methodology.The detection management system covers a variety of scopes, involving variousdetection categories and methods. While current statistics data are always not up-to-date andaccurate, with low fault tolerance. The detection management as a result suffers low efficiency.Through several surveys of detection industry in recent years, we learnt one main reason isthe lacking of scientific and reasonable instructions, and digital management. The scientificmethods, together with computer-assistant detection system, can ensure the accuracy of dataand to realize the quick and complete statistics. The detection management can thus be moreefficient and profitableIn this paper, the author first collects relevant data, then studies and analyzes the rulesand features of these data, to sum up the common methods and principles of detectionmanagement system; then by computer language, the author designs a complete set of projectdetection management system. the system supports many existing detection processes, whichcan realize the management of projects and responsible persons, as well as the internal andexternal detection of products. through the record of responsible persons, unified managementof products and supervision of project status, it facilitates the tracking of relevant problems,so as to strengthen the standardization of digital detection industry.In respect of popularity of windows OS, the author selects windows vc++6.0(integratedIDE environment) and small database MS-ACCESS2007as the development tools. VC++6.0 is Microsoft’s enduring C++development tool, which can be closely integrated with OS, anddirectly run the bottom of OS. VC++6.0, based on the visible operating environment,WYSIWYG development mode, scalability of C++codes and MFC library, as well as IDEintegrated with class wizard, MSDN etc., facilitates the programming by the developer.MS-ACCESS2007, as a small database management system developed by Microsoft, hasXP-style visual interface. It adopts ADO to encapsulate, and reserves interface for futureupgrading of database. Both tools guarantee the high stability and efficiency of themanagement system.The frame diagram describes the logical relations of all components of the system.Modular design and C/S structure are adopted in the system. The GUI, with partialdevelopment codes fully indicate the design workflow of the detection management system.Considering the wide variety of the data during detection, the logon authority is set, tofacilitate the control of users of different levels, so as to ensure the security of data. Besides,in the modules of detection items, experiment management, and equipment management etc.,the department name and ID, as well as the contact information of responsible person areadded, so as to facilitate the quick problem tracking.The detection management system covers many systems and principles observed bycurrent detection industry. Through the statistics of various elements, the process managementcan be realized, and the timing, reusability and efficiency of the detection system are thusimproved. Due to the complex of detection system and specialty of detection management,many fault tolerance mechanisms, alerting messages and operation logs are added in thesystem. Therefore, the user can figure out the problems and its causes quickly. In addition,during development, the Hungary programming rules, with Chinese comments are adopted.So the readability and reusability of the codes are enhanced. In conclude, this system lays asolid foundation for the digital detection management, would generate further development ofthis field.
