With the springing up of modern designing notion: high-efficiency, energy-saving andlow-carbon. Methods of minimizing the quantity of model, shortening cycle of researching,decreasing the working beat, raising laboring efficiency become problems any corporationwaits to solve urgently. Due to fast development of computer and information tech., digitizedmanufacturing tech. gradually turns into modern industry trend, owing to its uniqueadvantage. In this essay, digitized model of spot welding robot working station getsestablished, aiming at that on the car rear wheel guard. Under virtual environment, DELMIAand CATIA are utilized and designing planning and manufacturing planning of robot workingstation are analyzed. Digitized dynamic simulation and optimized of manufacturing processon car rear wheel guard assembly spot welding robot working station get realized.On the fundamental that characteristic of car rear guard assembly and welding process ofspot welding are analyzed, according to working beat and process trait. Quantity of robot andprocess, layout and personnel of working station also get analyzed, so that layout plan ofworking station is confirmed, on the base of which digital model of car rear guard spotwelding robot is established, manufacturing plan gets designed and definition of relativemotion mechanism of working station is completed. On the ground of practicabilityand applicability, Prim algorithm is used in solving spot order layout; moreover, welding pathlayout program gets compiled under Visual Basic. Therefore, fast layout calculation isachieved and optimized results are obtained. This layout finally is approved to be logicalthrough digital virtual simulation. Under DELMIA virtual simulated environment, simulation analysis of assembly weldingoperation of welding robot working station on car rear guard gets achieved. Through analysisof process and collision interference, manufacturing process is optimized, efficiency getsraised and bottle-neck problem of working efficiency is solved.
