Network Control Systems are the combinition of control and network disciplines, and because it has the advantage of simple installation, easy maintenance, low operating costs, it has been used in industry and engineering wildly. With NCS’s scale gradually expanding and it’s complexity constantly increasing, even a small failure can cause unpredictable, impossible to estimate casualties and property losses. So on the study of the NSC’s safety and reliability and Achieving the fault detection of NCS has important social needs and commercial value.And the advantages of Delta operator in digital, high-speed sampling make the combination of Delta Operator and the fault detection of NCS becoming very scientific and academic value.The main research results consist of the following parts.(1)This paper studies the design problem of fault detection of networked control systems based on Delta operator with random short time-delay. Based on the traditional filter using the shift operator, a new filter model to fault detection for Delta operator systems with time-delay is given. And the design of observer-based robust fault detection filter for NCS can be formulated as a Robust system optimization problem. The output residuals are developed in means of linear matrix inequalities. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.(2) It’s Deepened analysis for the design problem of fault detection of networked control systems based on Delta operator with random long time-delay. Using of the augmented matrix transformation the fault detection filter model with the long time-delay to the same as the one the short time-delay. The solvable condition of the H∞filtering optimization problem and further the solutions are derived by linear matrix inequalities. It’will achieve fault detection.(3)We apply the proposed fault detection approaches to a NCS with the aid of MAILAB LMI Control Toolbox. the computer simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
