This article makes the analyzes of the function indicators of a test equipment for a data record device,It Starts with the demonstration of the program, hardware design, software design, reliability,universal design and then proposes a modular design of the test equipment. The overall system has a strong versatility and scalability because of it not only uses bus mode、the modular design approach but also makes use of FPGA as the central logic controller and PCI boards for data transmission. This Article introduces the hardware circuit、the register settings and logic timing in accordance with the functions of each module.This design makes use of FPGA as the core of the board to control the whole hardware circuit. It uses the internal registers of the logic device as storage units for improving the reliability、security and scalability effectively of the system. In the last chapter of this article it gives a result of this system under a test with a simulation of the device, this result proves this system fully meets the technical requirements of the mission.The main research work can be summarized as follows:(1)The overall design of the board of this system based on standardized function modules.(2) All the protocols include many parts,such as PCI protocol backplane Protocol and the kernel protocol.(3) The design of the board of the standardized functions and the definition of the command.(4) The design of hardware and software for the standardized functional board.
