Then introduced the four characteristics of Android, and a detailed analysis of the Android system arichitecture.Secondly, introduced the hardware resource of the Devkit8000 development board, then use the way that first transplant the Linux kernel to Devkit8000, second hit the Android kernel patch to Linux kernel, transplanted the Android system to Devkit8000 development board, concrete work including make cross compiler tool chain, make the boot process, make Linux kernel that can run on the development board, generate Android kernel patch, make Android file system, and then the result sof transplant are given.Thirdly, use the way that Eclipse+ADT build up the Android application develop environment in Ubuntu system, based on a detail study in the core components of Android application develop and application life cycle, realized two Android application:a music player and a two of a kind game, and then test and verify them on Android emulator, Android phone and Devkit8000 development board that transplant the Android system.Finally, summarized the work that has done in this article, and discussed the follow-up works.
