The Research Of University Network Education Platform Based On Cloud Computing

With the continuous progress of Internet technology,“cloud computing” havedisplayed excellent application in the various walks of life. However, in the field ofeducation, the development of cloud computing is brand new in the initial stages. In thisthesis, the characteristics and advantages of cloud computing were investigated. Incombination with the present situation and drawbacks of the modern network educationin colleges, we proposed a new conceived model on the education platform in collegesbased on the cloud computing. Its feasibility was further proved. And we made greateffort to the application of cloud computing in the education field.This thesis is mainly divided into four parts.Firstly, we introduced the research background of this thesis and summarized thedevelopment process and status of network education at home and aboard. Then theemphasis was given to the exploration of the existing problems and the correspondingreasons in the network education of our higher educationSecondly, the characteristics and advantages of cloud computing were introduced.Especially, the possibility and advantage in the foundation of the college networkeducation platform were discussed in detail from the aspects of cost, resource andefficiency. We assumed the necessary modules for an established platform. Throughconsidering these modules, such as the teacher and students’ activates and the networkresources and technology, the superiority of the combination between the cloudcomputing and the higher education was further proved.In the third part, we proposed the program of “cloud education” based on the abovediscussion. The program involved the core idea of building the “cloud education”platform. We also anticipated the positive influence of the realization of the platform onthe teachers, learners and the media of learning.Finally, we discussed the system design and deploy strategy in the college cloudplatform for the network education, including the architecture of network system,software design, strategy for platform security and research on the key technology.
