Wireless network technology based on its inherent advantages and features in the intelligent building control which is more widely used. Wireless solutions to replace traditional wired solutions can bring more advantages, such as in the construction of the project can increase the system flexibility, and reduce the difficulty of deployment of communications equipment and reduce equipment maintenance costs, especially in some hard wiring or is not the wiring (such as museums, the old building, etc.) these advantages, the more it is particularly important.Linux system as the most potential for development of embedded operating systems, one has penetrated into all areas of embedded system development. And because of its excellent and stable network performance, embedded Linux system has been gradually occupy a large part of the embedded network-related product development.This paper presents an embedded Linux operating system S3C6410ARM11embedded processors as the core of the hardware platform using the Java programming language to write applications and graphical user interface.802.11b standards established in the district’s central server, wireless network communication system, in order to achieve the effective communication between tenants and property management center of the district public messaging, voice, video and other information. The system has the following characteristics:(1) Embedded system uses32Samsung S3C6410ARM11processor as a hardware core, can effectively save power consumption and cost. And smaller overall hardware, easy installation, it has become really important for the modern home requirements.(2) the use of embedded Linux operating system to facilitate system maintenance, expansion and upgrade.(3) Internal LAN networking using the802.11b specification, network technology is mature, easy to maintain and upgrade.(4) software design written in Java, friendly and easy to operate program interface, combined with the characteristics of the Java language can be effective in a variety of platforms, portable, speed up the efficiency of the product upgrade, effectively shortening the cycle of the program of secondary development.
