The two trends of economic globalization and integration has prevailed in21st century. Thus, the traditional self-sufficient economic pattern has been broken with the two side by side trends which advance the regional economies. During the past30-odd years of reform and opening-up, thousands of transnational Corporations and enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan entered in the Guangdong market,while the regional brands such as the Humen Costume, the Dalang Woolens, the Chaozhou Pottery and The Chenhai Toys becomes familiar with most of the Chinese. The regional brands dissemination marks the high way of constructing the Guangdong regional brand which not only expands the influence of the Guangdong brands, but also promotes their fame and competitive strength, thus stabilizes the prominent economic position of the Guangdong province.However, with the high speed development of the Yangtze River Delta region and Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan region, the outstanding position of Guangdong in economy is under pressure, especially, after the financial crisis, various regions of the Guangdong province suffers different degrees of economical damages because of the export-oriented economy pattern. The original export-oriented industry is largely affected as the demands of the world-market are reducing excessively. Nowadays, the goals of enhancing the competitive strength of the Yangtze River region, expanding domestic demands and obtaining the domestic markets are the main challenge for Guangdong in the Post-financial-crisis to accomplish the transformation of economic development. It is urgent for the Guangdong province to expand the influence of its brands and reconstruct them, transform the export-oriented industry into the domestic demand leadership type development pattern, advance the "made-in-Guangdong brands" to the "create-in-Guangdong brands", in a bid to accomplish the advancement of the economy of Guangdong.Under such background, I intend to expose the comprehensive researches on status of regional brands in Guangdong province, re-construct the idea of regional brand dissemination, analyze the pattern of regional brand dissemination, and summarize the present status of regional brands in Guangdong province under the statistic on media presents made by the People’s Daily and The southern daily. Then, analyze the problems in the process of regional brand dissemination and provide some strategic suggestions on it.
