Research And Implementation Of Embedded Weather Warning Information Receiving System

Existing meteorological early warning information is disseminated through the web site, the weather channel, television spots, short-wave radio and other means, generally the transfer and the information coverage is limited, to solve above problems and meet weather warning information reveiving system portability,intelligent,multi-receive mode,using MOT protocol to transport information in the main service channel of DAB system is proposed for the area of theoretical research;For practical applications,the DAB technology,GSM technology and text-to-speech conversion technology is combined together.The research is based on embedded DAB/GSM’s weather warning information receiving system.This article revolves around the design and implementation of hardware and software of the weather warning information receiving system which is based on embedded DAB, discusses the DAB information transmission technology involved in the system design process, In hardware design,the modular design is applied,the embedded core systems modules,DAB hardware modules,GSM hardware module,the voice broadcast hardware modules is designed and integrated in hardware logic. In software design, using bottom-up design methodology, First, according to the feature of the hardware system to build software for embedded Linux system development environment. Then, the DAB module driver under embedded Linux platform is designed according to the chip features.The application layer of the multi-threaded application development including DAB channel information control, GSM channel information control, voice broadcast software design, and user-friendly graphical information receiving software which is fusion of those functions is analyzed and designed for the user,.Finally, weather warning information receiving system is developed successfully by the integrated hardware and software, anduse of existing laboratory resources, the receiving system is tested and verified to meet the system’s design requirements which needs high performance, low power and multi-channel.Embedded weather warning information DAB/GSM receiving system is researched, the information can be received through DAB and GSM dual-channel and alarmed by voice. This way changes the traditional style of information receiving which is single, provides a new idea to receive disaster warning information intelligently and accurately.
