Chaotic system is a kind of stochastic, deterministic nonlinear system. Because of its extreme sensitivity to initial value and unpredictability, good statistical properties and can generate random sequences. Plus it has continuous broadband frequency spectrum, noise characteristics, makes it more and more informational security experts’ attention. Especially in the field of digital image, the image encryption and decryption of high stability and reliability have been the focus of world attention.In today’s chaotic image encryption with these characteristics, the chaotic digital image communication of the majority technology is in theory and simulation, this paper realizes the organic combination of theory and practice. Using the cat map image encryption and in close proximity to the ideal channel in a wireless communication system completed operations, for the future practical applications provides reference and platform of simulation algorithm.The main contents of this paper include:1. Provides an overview of basic concepts, chaotic cryptography and digital image encryption method, gives a2D cat map image encryption model. Compile C program language of a2D cat map encryption and decryption program language. Authentication algorithm.2. According to the chaotic image encryption and decryption of the DSP communication and technology implementation, with the format of BMP Lena image as an example, the design of the cat map chaotic sequence for digital image of Lena encryption and decryption of the communication process.3. Using the platform of a dedicated serial chip TL16C550and serial driving device to realize the serial communication between DSP and DSP, on the serial after self testing in accordance with the serial communication protocol design and implementation of image in DSP between the sending and receiving of the platform.4. In accordance with the design gives the DSP hardware implementation results, realized the digital Lena image chaotic encryption, and decryption channel cable transmission.
