Brushless DC Motor in overcoming a brush DC motor machinery commutation faults, meanwhile has simple structure, reliable operation and good performance of speed etc, so in many fields used widely. This paper, using the fuzzy PID advanced control theory, introduces the design of brushless DC motor (BLDCM) control system based on DSP.First, in the analysis of the current development and the research background of brushless DC motor control system, in view of servo control system performance requirements, combined with three closed-loop control structure characteristics, put forward using fuzzy PID control algorithm in the position loop. Meanwhile, the current closed-loop and speed closed-loop all use PI adjuster. Motor rotation angular displacement detection using photoelectric encoder to realize, detecting of rotor position by hall sensor is realized.Second, the brushless DC motor control system and computer simulation is carried out based on MATLAB/Simulink platform. In order to realize motor commutation and the current detection, in the simulation system embeds M-files. In three closed-loop control structure, position regulator with the advanced control algorithm, fuzzy-PID control. Through the simulation results show that, by using fuzzy-PID controller in, the control system dynamic performance and static performance have been improved greatly.Third, the system’s hardware design includes the main circuit, control circuit, drive circuit and protect circuit. Choose the TMS320F2812DSP of TI company as control chip, the system is adopted IR2130drive chip, the system speed and position information are provided by photoelectric encoder. Though hall sensors to realize busbar voltage and current detection of protection circuit.Fourth, the control system software design, include the main program and interrupt subroutine. Interrupt subroutine program is the realization of the control algorithm. In addition, CAP capture subroutines, bus in current like procedures, AD transform procedure, etc, are designed.
