Coking production occupies a very important position in heavy industry produce. In production field, because of large overall motion of the vehicles and much information transmission between control center station and vehicles, it is urgently necessary to add wireless communication technology into coking production. In order to ensure stability and reliability of information transmission, this paper carries out research on planning, designing and study of wireless Ethernet for coke oven based on small scale fading model.To sum up the special environment in production field, this paper determines the data radio station as the best communication equipment for wireless Ethernet of coke oven after the analysis and contrast with some kinds of wireless communication modes. It also studied on how the antenna parameters affect the coverage of radio signal, and finished filling the working area with radio signal by regulating the parameters of antenna. The software of signal coverage for wireless Ethernet of coke oven is made on this base, we can observe directly how the antenna parameters effect the coverage of radio signal by it.This paper do research in the signal fading problem by establishing model of small scale fading in the small range region where signal is not stable of wireless Ethernet after analyzing the reason of small scale fading. The sample interval of field measurement was set by analysis of correlation, and then got the signal to noise ratio of radio signal after processing the data. In accordance with Shannon formula and the actual situation of data radio station, determining the optimized data transmission rate of wireless channel and making sure the communication quality is best.At last, in order to be stable, this paper uses the communication mode of polling in PLC to avoid collision in the communication of wireless Ethernet for coke oven.
