In21century, because of the fast urbanization, there are all kinds of traditional and non-traditional problems which are affecting the development of the city. And the problem of urban population is the most important influencing factor. Thus, it has very important practical and theoretical significance to find the information of the number of population and dynamic distribution of people. Nowadays, the main content of spatialization of urban population includes the spatialization of population statistics and evaluation of urban population with the high-resolution remote sensing image.There are still many things we need do, though we have got a big improvement in the research of spatial distribution of urban population. We researched the Beibei district of Chongqing. We have used high spatial resolution remote sensing image from Google Earth to create the land use classification system of urban population of Beibei. We also have used the24hours a day time variable to build the high temporal resolution mode of dynamic distribution of urban population on the base of investigation, to imitate and use it. The contents and results of research include some parts like these:To analyze the relation between urban population and landuse and between urban population and time; establish the city land use classification system of Beibei; introduce the land information extraction and methods of explanation; create the high temporal resolution database of dynamic distribution of urban population; pull into absorption weighing of land of all kinds of land use classification on different stages, and express them with absorption ratio.To use field research dates and interpretation results to build the city land use classification system and also amend the system; imitate the state of spatial distribution of city population in one day through the land use absorption weighing from the mode of traffic forecast; get high temporal resolution imitation of dynamic distribution of city population by the process to research results in the way of grid; and last, we use the research results to resolve a chemicals leak accident which causes the diffusion of poisonous gas.
