As an important branch of the remote sensing technology, Aviation remote sensing technology is widely used in many areas. But it has some limitations, such as:the limitation of the flight level, the limitation of the camera performance, these make the film can’t completely cover the target area; in actual operations, shooting is susceptible to the imaging conditions (weather, illumination, etc.), the information obtained can be different, even can’t get the target scene under certain operating condition. Based on these factors, aviation remote sensing can’t meet demand, so design the simulation system to transform the image based on a variety of imaging conditions.The simulation system uses OSG to program in Visual C++2008, it’s mainly to achieve the function include:the image simulation when the aircraft’s position and the attitude changed, the image simulation when the camera’s position and the attitude changed, the image simulation when the camera’s geometric characteristics changed, the real-time simulation based on the MFC interface and the interpolation function.The main contents are as follows:1) The imaging technology of OpenGL. In the article, the3D rendering engine OpenSceneGraph(OSG) is an interface based on the industry standard of OpenGL. It completely follows the imaging principle of the OpenGL, so this article focuses on the analysis of the imaging technology of the OpenGL. Then derives its consistency with the imaging principle of the actual camera. So the system that develops the camera platform based on the OSG has a practical significance.2) The algorithm research of the aerial image transformation. The transformation of the system is based on the image of airborne captured. It is necessary to analyze the influence when the aerial camera’s position and attitude changed to the image.3) Image quality assessment. The result of the simulation system is image result. So the image quality assessment to the simulation system is important. The article analyzes and compares the simulation image and the reference image, then get the image quality result of the simulation system, analysis and comparison are mainly from the following aspects:gray, clarity, texture, edge information on energy, details of energy. After the design is completed, the whole system is debugged. The result shows that all the functions are realized. The error of the image quality assessment is small, it can meet the demand.
