Digital mapping can relieve the labor strength of the mappers and make mapping more accurate.The aim of this thesis is, with the digital photogrammetry and processing of graphics and images, to calculate the topography data of the object, i.e., the 3-dimensional coordinate data, by the large-scale aerial image. That is to say, it aims to get rid of geometrical distortion first, with the method of digital correction, and then, based on single image analysis, figure out the image's exterior orientation data, followed with the phase of finding out the homonymous feature point of two corresponding images with the technique of image matching, and at last, orientate the 3-dimensional coordinate data of the feature point, depending on their exterior orientation data and the feature point's inner-image coordinate data.The specific researches include:1.Combining the current geometrical correction method, put forward the method of image's geometrical correction based on time series analysis, suggest the solutions including the correction methods, gray interpolation and border location, and examine the correction effect of time series analysis.2.Analyze and investigate the current image matching technique and, based on it, use the Moravec arithmetic operators to evenly draw the feature point of the left image, then locate the homonymous feature point of the right image by SSDA, and analyze the drawn results of the images and the image matching results.3.With the help of technique of two-image orientation, work out the 3-dimensional coordinate data of the feature point of the corrected image, and analyze the accuracy of the corresponding experiment results. 4.With combination of the above researches, program an image processing prototype system based on the topography data calculation of the aerial image, thus realizing the geometrical correction, image matching and image analysis of this system.
