With the fast development of the computer vision technology, the fisheye lens with itssmall size, strong concealment, working hours without rotating and scanning and so on, play amore and more important role in the all-around vision field. It is well known that the fisheyelens bring serious nonlinear image distortion together with large field of view angle. Thispaper finished the measurement purpose of the object size and the shooting distance accordingto the perspective information of the correct images, based on the correction of the sequenceof the displacement fisheye images.Firstly, this paper introduced the theory about the measuring technology of image in abrief and chiefly introduced the knowledge about the fisheye lens and the processingtechnology of image that it contained. According to characteristics extraction about corner inthe processing technology of image, the Harris algorithm was researched. Its experimentalverification was taken and the effect maps of corner detecting were given. Then this paperresearched the existing correction algorithms of fisheye image on emphasis. On this basis, thecorrection algorithm based on the model of spherical imaging projection was improved. Thisimproved algorithm simplified the original algorithm and expanded the scope of applicationof the algorithm. The fisheye images were corrected with this calibration algorithm, theexperimental result showed that the algorithm was viable and the effect was good. In addition,this paper proposed a measurement algorithm based on the distortion model and ameasurement algorithm of sequence images, the measurement algorithm of sequence imageswas used at last based on the contrast between the advantages and disadvantages of the twoalgorithms.Finally, using a building as the measurement target, this paper finished the purpose ofmeasurement after correcting the sequence of displacement fisheye images and got the mapping relation between the object size and the shooting distance. Measuring result wasverified in two aspects of solving object size based on the known shooting distance andsolving shooting distance based on the known object size. The verification results showed thatall of the errors were less than two percent, the accuracy of measurement was met the demand.It showed that the method of measurement that this paper proposed can accurately obtain theobject size and the shooting distance.
