Sensor is the first link in the measuring control system, and its accuracy play a decisiverole in the measuring control system, thereby correcting and compensating sensors’staticcharacteristics and dynamic characteristics has already become an important subject both athome and abroad. In order to correct sensor’s dynamic error and improve measure precision,the design approach for dynamic compensation filter based on improved particle swarmoptimization algorithm has been discussed. To realize real-time correction for sensor’sdynamic error, dynamic compensation filter’s hardware implementation has been researched.After the brief presentation of sensor’s dynamic characteristics and dynamic error,sensor’s dynamic error caused by its systems limitation has been introduced. In order tocorrect this error through dynamic compensation filter, the design approach for dynamiccompensation filter based on improved particle swarm optimization algorithm has beendiscussed. This approach belongs to inverse modeling. We can realize dynamic compensationwithout knowing the model of sensor, so the extra error cause by dynamic modeling ofsensors can be avoided. The dynamic compensation filter’s feasibility, dependence of trainingsamples, sensitivity to the noise has been tested through simulation and experiment.Sensor’s output provide basis for the decision-making in the measuring control system,so,it is necessary to study real-time correction for sensor’s dynamic error. In order to realizereal-time correction for sensor’s dynamic error based on DSP, a data acquisition system isdesigned. In this design, TMS320F2812 DSP is adopted for data acquisition and storage,dynamic compensation filter is realized in DSP chip by linear buffer and IQmath technology.System’s capacity of data acquisition and real-time performance is verified throughexperiment. Dynamic compensation algorithm is evaluated in sequential order in DSP chip, itis not adapted to higher real-time needs or higher sample rates, so real-time correction forsensor’s dynamic error based on FPGA has been researched. The data acquisition system based on XC3S500E-PQ208 FPGA is designed. Dynamic compensation filter is realized inFPGA chip by distributed arithmetic. The system’s feasibility and real-time property has beentested through simulator of sensor.
