With the continuous development of optical fiber communication technology, optical fiber sensing technology has gradually developed and become an emerging technology, which uses the optical fiber as the sensing medium, light as a carrier signal to measure the required parameters. This technology has unique benefits compared to the traditional sensors and been widely used in the security and other fields.This paper designs a set of fiber optical sensing system software based on fiber optic sensor hardware. The software has the functions of system updating, real-time monitoring and equipment testing. The updating software can send data through serial port to the device to update the equipment. When the bootloader time expires, the devices can automatic jumps to other applications. By using this software, sensor systems do not have to update the hardware driver by using JTAG, which greatly facilitates the process of updating the hardware. The upper interface controlling software can do the real-time monitoring to the device, including registration, polling period, laser settings, channel settings, template settings, parameter settings, zone settings and other functions. The upper interface software also provides a wave test module, through which, the operators can collect the real-time information of the outside and analyze it. The test software can test the hardware by commands, including single or multiple instructions test. In multiple testing, operators can also choose the random mode. This greatly reduces the testing time when hardware designs are finished.
