The network technology is developing rapidly recent years.Along with the development of network, appearance of voice, video and a large number of real-time data brings new requirements to the next generation network technology. At the same time, in the high performance of the network, how to guarantee the user’s quality of service will be a research hotspot in the future.This paper takes the next generation of network and quality of service and security as the breakthrough point, and researches the problem of how toguarantee the quality of service from the perspective of resource reservation in next generation network environment.First it introduces the QoS’s frame model, and explains the QoS structure in the end-to-end and mobility scene, and studies the QoS security mechanism of RSVP protocol used in resource reservation. On this basis, this paper introduces the next generation of signaling protocol NSIS,which is also used for resource reservation, and then analysis of the NSIS protocol frame and the hierarchical model.Next, it builds the test-bed platform based on the NSIS protocol under real network environment. In the third chapter, it expounds the graphical user interface GUI used in the platform, and designes two kinds of resource reservation scenes.In the next,it describles the process of implement and analysis based on the NSIS test-bed in the Linux environmen,including software & hardware configuration,scene & IP setup, way of operation and exception handling.Then it implements the resource reservation process in the end-to-end scene,and analyses the characters in the reservation pogress. In the fifth chapter, the article focuses on the NSIS’s perfomance and character in the mobility scene.In this chapter,it proposes a CRN recognition algorithm based on path- memory, and a switching strategy in the mobility environment. Then it verificates these mechanisms in the NSIS test-bed environment.Finally,it summarizes the work in this article and discusses the further research of the NSIS protocol.
