With the development of mobile communications technology, mobile function becomes more and more stronger, software and wap are mobile standard except voice and sms. People can view news entertainment and story by mobile, but they are not content with these information. It is important to acquire clothing food shelter and transportation and daily necessities for people. What is more, it is urgent to acquire around daily living information. It is very meaningful to share around life information rapidly to people.Mobile search system for daily living information can provide people with very valuable daily living information.In this paper, development and design process of a search engine system used in wireless life is described. In this design processing advanced software bus system frame is used, applying experienced full-text search, inverted index, algorithm for Chinese Phrase Segmentation design technology. In communication frame apache module and ace task are used,they supports Concurrent request and load balance. In full-text search inverted index, multilevel index and multidimension index are used, search request of multidimension and N-Tier can be solved. According to the modern design idea of software engineering, combing these search characteristics of wireless life, requirements of search be analyzed in detail. Basing on which that frame scheme of search system is explained,function of all the subsystem is listed.Search engine and WAP service are emphasizely described.The whole system consists of online search service and offline data processing. Online search services include location service,search service,map service,WAP service, mobile software. Offline data process services include spider, content parser, creation index. Thought of whole program of this system is clear, various factors are considered, advanced technology is applying, modern search technology and Operation pattern are complied, it can debase development risk and OperatingCost.At the present time, the most part of the whole system developed in this paper be applied in practice such as spider subsystem, data processing subsystem,creating index subsystem,search subsystem. Wap subsystem has been tested successfully in mobile phone. Location service can be used on the part of nokia mobile. The whole system has come up to good effection. Of course, because of more and more data,index file can not be saved in one machine, distributed storage and distributed search need are thought. At application process of this system, many questions may arise, which must be resolved step by step in the future.
