The Planing Design And Engineering Practice Of Merging VPDN Accessing Platform Of Shanxi Unicom

The application of Telecommuting will improve enterprises efficiencies,enhance enterprises competitive and lower operating costs. After the reorganization of telecom industry, high speed broadband and wireless network,the stable customer group, has made Shanxi Unicom more competitive in the market.however, VPDN which is one of the implementations of Telecommuting is too limited to help telecom operators more cost-effectively provision service by meeting the demands of an ever-increasing enterprise clients base. This paper is about to study the application and practice of VPDN. It has important significance for integrated service access in VPDN.VPDN is used to form an exclusive logical link on the public network, which helps to build up a reliable and secure internet connection between the enterprise and the long-distance users. Shanxi Unicom now exists for the two kinds of network pattern:one is through ADSL dial-up or the cable LAN dial-up access enterprises intranet, another is the adoption of the wireless terminal dial-up access enterprises intranet. After careful Analyses, a new solution for VPDN accessing platform was proposed integrated with VPN broadband network and Mobile wireless network in the paper. Network construction, performance, platform accessing, Process flow and Equipment configuration are introduced in detail. And the paper describes how to overcome the difficulties and how to use effective measures during engineering implementation.At present, Shanxi Unicom built a new VPDN accessing platform integrated with VPN broadband network and Mobile wireless network. The result of the application shows that this VPDN accessing platform is greatly beneficial for enterprise to promote serves in corporation users accessing and management, normalize the business procedure, meet the requirements of the market and raise working efficiency and lay the groundwork for future as well. Therefore, the application of VPDN accessing platform can bring numerous practical economic benefits to the enterprise clients.
