With the rapid development of networking technology and telecommunications service, the telecommunications operation network was developing toward the fiber, IP direction gradually. The multi-services network became inevitable trend of the network development. Using the IP network to carry internet, voice, video and other business was the best choice of the operators.At present, the multi-service carrying demand of the Tangshan Unicom was extremely urgent. On the one hand, as the scarp of the SPC exchange in PSTN, a large number of original voice users faced with network transfer. On the other hand, with the IPTV development, the video service user quantity would increase rapidly, therefore the Tangshan Unicom needed to carry internet, voice, video and other business together with the IP network. Based on the above network development trends, combined with the current network and business situation, The paper discussed the multi-services carrying achieve suggestion which used the home gateway to gradually introduce NGN, IPTV (video), on the existing IP network basis.This research adopted the way of combining theory and practice, the suggestion of multi-service integrated carrying with the home gateway was discussed. First, the plan researched stage, Combined with the current IP network existent problems and various services carrying demand, we gave the multi-service carrying suggestion in the IP network. Then, in the test stage, By the simulation of business application environment and Tangshan pilot network multi-services technology deployment testing, we inspected service carrying effect. Finally, combined with the test result we identified through the home gateway to realize the multi-services fusion carrying deployment suggestion.
