A Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a multi-hop system constructed by a set of mobile terminals dynamically and without the support of existing infrastructure. Because nodes in the network can move freely, MANETs can organize a network quickly and are very strong. With the development of network technology and high demands of users, providing Quality of Service (QoS) support has received much attention with the problem of QoS routing the most important issue. QoS routing means not only to find a route to guarantee quality of service but also to make effective use of network resources. In this article, we first focus on the research of energy and bandwidth constraints in Ad Hoc Networks. Mobile Ad Hoc Network consists of a set of mobile terminals without the support of the fixed base stations and therefore the terminals must use battery as the power supply. As a result, node energy has become an important constraint for the network development. How to reduce energy consumption and extend the working time of nodes is an urgent problem at present. At the same time, communication through the wireless channels leads to a limited bandwidth and the practical bandwidth is far less than the theory level. Ensuring the link bandwidth is also an important issue in Ad Hoc networks. In this paper, we present a QoS routing method based on dynamic programming algorithm to solve the energy consumption. The method can ensure the need of bandwidth and also find a route with the lowest costs. With the increasing·demand of real-time information and the development of multimedia technology, multicast communication has been widely used. In Ad Hoc networks, multicast technology provides effective routing for multimedia applications like video conference. It is now becoming more important since it can coordinate a set of nodes effectively. However, these applications need high QoS requirements and how to provide QoS guarantee for multicast routing is also important. In this paper we focus on the situation of centralized destination nods and with the help of GPS for route search we provide directional guidance for multicast routing. An efficient multicast QoS routing scheme is presented to meets the requirements of bandwidth and BER (Bit Error Rate). The simulation results have proved the feasibility of the proposed scheme.
