In current complicated communication network, it’s necessary for carriers to continuously optimize the telecommunication network to guarantee the high communication performance.To achieve the object, they can acquire the voice, signaling and communication data to collect and monitor the real-time information about the whole network, analyze and process the massive collected data and realize the advanced network optimization.Based on this newly-developed wireless network optimization method and practical requirements, this thesis firstly introduces the principle of multi-core processor and NetIO mechanism, analyzes the special features of NetIO, including data packet switching and sending data to multi cores for parallel processing. After the high-speed data collection system designed for wireless network optimization are introduced, the E1 data are transformed to unified Ethernet data format in the former data collection card with FPGA and the high-speed signaling data pre-processing is realized with the multi-core processor and its NetIO technology to materialize the whole system. This data collection system can acquire massive data from various communication network interfaces and preprocess these data for server. Next, different methods are adopted to test the system’s performance of high-speed data collection and demonstrate the performance improvement compared with single processor. In the end of the thesis, the summarization for this thesis and prospect for the system’s improvement and widely use are presented.
