In today’s highly developed wireless spectrum resources are increasingly scarce, so the band has been allocated to effectively manage and fully utilize a variety of wireless applications in the increasingly urgent issue, as third-generation wireless communication network of outstanding Representative----W-CDMA communication network system is no exception, power control in W-CDMA W-CDMA radio network management resources, the primary means of power control in W-CDMA system, the most important key technologies. The power control techniques in the inner loop power control----mainly used to control the W-CDMA and W-CDMA mobile terminals between the base station is the closed loop power control is particularly important because communication to ensure that the system capacity and quality, significant extent, are associated with it. Therefore, W-CDMA system power control in W-CDMA mobile phones is a very crucial and important research topic. It not only ties the phone communication quality, more importantly, it relates to the entire mobile phone network could work the problem.Inner loop power control is a closed-loop power control technology, between the base station and mobile phone to control the physical layer. Mobile phone base station according to the received power control commands to adjust its transmit power. Mobile terminal base stations by measuring the transmitted signal power and signal to interference ratio, and with the preset target power and signal to interference ratio compared to the resulting power control command to adjust the mobile transmit power to compensate for the gap between the measurements and the target.In this paper, hardware and software combination that matches the W-CDMA power amplifier circuit plus system platform firmware (Firmware) approach, the researchers analyzed four inner loop power control performance optimization of mobile phones means that good RF matching and accurate RF terminal transmit RF power calibration and accurate temperature compensation and frequency of the RF power compensation temperature (the latter two are usually used together), and its feasibility is verified by the address of the mobile phone manufacturers the practical problems in engineering applications. Test results show that effective measures be taken after these three, inner loop power control performance in the A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H are the eight regions can reach the inner loop power control is met.Innovation of this paper is to address the W-CDMA handsets for the purpose of power control, hardware and firmware integrated approach, the introduction of close contact with high-pass optimization algorithm platform, and ultimately effective solution to the W-CDMA handsets inner power test the problem.This research has been applied to W-CDMA handset production practice, and made good use of effects.
