The increasing using of high technology which based on the informationtechnology is changing the war shape forever. It has transformed a lot such as patternsof warfare, method of fighting, operational environment and so on. In the future hi-techpartial war, radar is the main platform of modern battlefield. If the radar system hasmalfunction error, it would be a totally disaster as unseen, deafness and untouched, thuslead to defeat of battle even the campaign. Meanwhile, Radar is featured by much morecomplicated technology, compact construction and diversity function, those make theradar error detection and diagnostics become more difficult than ever. This thesis isaiming at solving the potential fault and the key problem of diagnosis, thus to providefoundation of preventive maintenance. The research result is practical in area like radarsystem fault prediction theory, and it has a preferable field of application with goodprospects. The body of thesis mainly includes four parts:The first part introduces the aim, significance, background and status home andabroad of this research.The second part is the research of basic theory for the radar intelligence BIT(Builtin Test) fault prediction system. Mainly including radar’s fault mechanism, fault modeand fault handling rules, putting forward simple formula of fault cycle of parts, andpulling the concept of condition based maintenance, latent fault and conditionmonitoring in the fault prediction of radar system.The third part is the research fusion model of radar faul prediction method.Comprehensive expert system, fuzzy theory and SVR(Support Vector Regression) basedon intelligent genetic algorithm, to build the radar fault prediction model fusion,theexperimental analysis shows that with simple SVR and GM(Grey Model),this paperputs forword that the model has better fault prediction accuracy and relatively stableforecasting errors.The fourth part studies the basic demand and main functions in exploiting BITsystem, the intelligent BIT the design of the whole system, analyzes the intelligence ofthe system and the realization of BIT tool technology, discussed the main function ofintelligent BIT system, and gives the system in the main function modules the operationof the display.Paper research and implementation of the radar intelligence BIT fault prediction system to better monitor radar equipment operation state, in acceptable diagnostic timerequest can accurately predict and fault diagnosis of radar, can effectively reduce thecost of maintenance support and maintenance personnel skills requirements, so as toelevate the weaponry’s rate of serviceability, warehousing, perfectness and regenerationin battle field.
