Wireless sensor network is a network system, composed by a large number ofspatially distributed sensor nodes. The interested information within the monitored areacan be perceived,collected and processed timely, and ultimately be sent to the distantdestination terminal by wireless multi-hop way. Its application involves many fields, butit’s really an energy constrained network, so the core issue of WSN study turns to howto save more energy costs under achieving network application requirements.This paper goes deep into cooperative MISO transmission technology which canimprove the channel and system capacity effectively in wireless communication field,then puts forward several energy-saving schemes based on different channel stateinformation by using finite-rate feedback, beamforming, adaptive modulation andcoding and other technology, which contained cooperative MISO energy-savingschemes based on finite-rate feedback F-CSI, I-CSI and Q-CSI. In above energy-savingschemes, the receiving node obtains the optimal beamforming weight and adaptivemodulation and coding mode according to different channel state information, thus thedata information can be transmitted with the optimal transmission power. The threeenergy-saving schemes based on different channel state information is simulated inMATLAB platform, the simulation results show that the energy-saving scheme based onfinite-rate feedback Q-CSI can save transmission power effectively, and then extend thenetwork lifetimeAt the same time, this paper proposes a new cooperative MISO energy-savingtransmission algorithm from the point of using the neighbor nodes’ information anddynamically adjusting the transmission power, which combined the energy-savingscheme based on finite-rate feedback Q-CSI in cooperative network with clusteringnetwork. This algorithm selects the appropriate cooperative nodes to make full use ofthe neighbor nodes’ information, adjusts transmission power of the transmission nodes timely based on finite-rate feedback channel state information. This new cooperativeMISO energy-saving transmission algorithm is simulated in MATLAB platform, theresults show that the cooperative MISO energy-saving transmission algorithm can savethe whole network costs,meanwhile get good communication performance.
