The article presents an introduction of algorithm for coherent signal digital receiver,including signal detecting, signal identifying and coheret signal frequence estimation, furthermorea series of optimization methods by use of AltiVec introductions are used to improve theefficiency of system on MPC7447.The algorithm of this article is first detecting signal Based on Correlative Accumulation andHaar wavelet transform, then Identification of the modulation schemes, then estimate thefrequence of monopulse, last, down-conversion the coherent pulse train. All the baseband signalsare accumulated in intrapulse and acquired a sinusoidal signal. By estimate the frequence of thissingal, we can get the difference, and obtained the high accurate frequency estimate of thecoherent pulse.The capter4disuessed the realization of the software base on PowerPC MPC7447, and wechosed Linux operating system. PowerPC G4’s and higher families extend the vector calculate unitand162SIMD instructions set in CPU, which is named as AltiVec. With these instructions, Withthese instructions we can improve the efficiency of the calculating with a large amount of data.Capter5proposes an optimized algorithm based on AltiVec technology, and gave the comparetionof the pareformence of the system that improved or not, gave the performance of improved systemin some different situations. Last, gave the comparetion of data processing, efficiency of datathroughput, and code compatibility between DSPs and PowerPCs. The truth demonstrated thatPowerPCs perfromence better than DSPs in calculate performance, degree of difficulty indeveloping, compatibility and versatility of code.
