Recently years, as the integration and frequency of digital circuits increase quickly, it is harder toanalysis the performance of them. This article designs an effective test system for digital circuits,which can achieve the status and performance of digital circuits or digital system. It also has anefficient function of fault diagnosis.This thesis bases on technical requirements of an aircraft maintenance depot such as performanceanalysis and troubleshooting of the digital circuit board mainly designs the software part of the testsystem for digital circuit board. First, overall plan of software and hardware of test system has beenprojected bases on detailed analysis of the technical indicators and functional requirements of testsystem. Second, discussion has been done in the generation of test vectors and the selection of testpoints, which is the key point of test system. Take the fault detection of a simple assembly logiccircuit as an example, the essay narrates the thought and steps in the generation of test vectors and theselection of test points in detail by Particle Swarm Optimization. Taking into account the air bustesting requirements, the ARINC429and1553B bus test function modules have been designed. It alsoaccomplishes function software bases on LabVIEW, such as the generation of test tasks, the loadingof test tasks, the control of multifunctional waveform analysis, the function of self-test and testfunction of commonly used digital buses.Finally, joint test of software and hardware has been done. Experimental results show that thetest system designed by this article has superior performance. It achieves the desired specifications,and owns friendly interface. The test system is easy to use, which result in a strong practical value.
