People’s demanding of the house safety is higher with the progress of scienceand technology. Comfort, reasonable, convenient and safe home environment aregradually being unobservant for the young people. Because of its intuitive, easy andabundant information, etc, video surveillance are widely applied to the smart homesystem.This paper firstly introduces the development status and trends of theintelligent home video surveillance system, and then introduces the technology ofthe related video monitoring system, including CMOS technology, JMF technology,video coding technology, real-time transmission technology and so on.Firstly, VGA CMOS Sensor GC0309, as an example, is detailed analyzed in theapplication of mobile phone development platform MTK6235. Secondly, proposethe whole design of system, and give the specific system architecture and moduledivision. Then the system specific implementations of each module are describedin detail, and finally realize the system while achieving the analysis of the results.Work done:1. Design of the image acquisition system. This section includes hardware andsoftware design. Hardware design mainly includes circuit design, FPC board designand production of the module layout diagram, debugging of the hardware. Softwaredesign includes the preparation of the power function, IIC communication protocolsoftware implementation, the preparation of the initialization function, achievementof the preview and photo functions, subroutines compiled, such as various effectsfunction.2. Video transmission system This part researches related technology videosurveillance system, including video compression and video transmissiontechnology. Select H.263as video compression standard for the system, and RTP asthe video transmission protocol of the system. Determine the overall systemarchitecture, and divide into functional modules, depth study of JMS technology,combined with technical details of the implementation process of each module. The video transmission system designed in this subject, uses pure softwareprogramming. The software design model can be applied not only in videosurveillance, also to telemedicine, video conferencing and other fields. In addition,use the advantages of JAVA platform to make the developed system can run onmultiple platforms to achieve cross-platform. After tested under normal conditionsin the network, the system can watch the real-time monitoring video smoothly, andis stable. The system achieves the goals of the real-time transmission in the networkand the improves of service quality.
