Chinese manufacturing is a traditional industry, representing of the character andculture of our nation, has been focused on those questions and got strong supports, byour national. The international development is growing; the demand for Chinesemedicine is behind. It is the challenge has been faced, and the demand of informationtechnology has been became urgently by the production of traditional Chinesemedicine.The coating is an essential important part of the production of Chinese medicine,formerly, it is difficult to be issues of those questions,-controlling and detecting thehumidity and size of granules–that making real-time monitoring of the developmentis in a difficult position. Enterprises in scope of domestic and abroad, they use the wayof PLC controls the devices to solve those problem, evenly, in small or medium ones,which is using the method by manually. Theses bring the problem of secondarypollution.According to anglicizing of manufacture’s the current status which of Chinesemedicine production, PLC has some characters, such as: a longer cycle of scanning,limited accuracy, CPU processing rate can not meet the image processing, remotecontrol range limited to the production environment from a certain geographicshortcomings, Can not match with humidity requirements of medicine’s time interval400ms, acquisition accuracy to reach1/50000, through the camera get the shape,size of it and other requirements. The system of traditional Chinese medicine is basedon the ARM+Linux embedded, realized the function of monitoring the system by theC/S net mode. In the system design, the high-precision sensors, the video cameras beused, and the weight of particles, size and shape of production, can be catch. System’smain contents are as follows:1. Designing of the circuit-data acquisition hardware-to get the weight ofgranule, which was determined by gravity sensors, when it coming out of the coatingboiler, because of density impermanent, for calculating the moisture.2.Frist of all, depending on the application requirements, build Linux systemsand hardware platform, software resources, such as: making the cross-compiler environment, QTE, high definition camera, serial port, touch screen, memory andother resources. Meanwhile, to facilitate development and improve efficiency, thedevelopment environment needed to configure the system setting one by one.3.The video signals which is output from a high-speed high-definition camera,and, data from serial data acquisition instrumentation which is control the equipment’sstatus, switching, then, transfer to the host computer by the network to facilitatecentralized management of PC. At the same time, somebody the can touch screen tocontrol and monitoring equipment operation of in the production field production.4. Analyze the causes of the sensor error, the comparison between the differentkinds of algorithms is proposed based on piecewise least squares curve fitting programof measuring the static characteristics, and using Newton’s method for nonlinear errorcompensation.Using of C/S of the upper and lower computer model acquisition data and devicecontrol to improve the performance, and flexible. Combined with a graphical interfacedesign directly reflects the image of production status to ensure the safe operation ofthe production by collecting data. It can be worked in some harsh environments, suchas: heat, cold, humidity and so on.
