The Real-time Monitoring And Missing Data Process Based On OPC Clients

In order to achieve the data exchange and communication between differentcomputer network components of hardware and software in early computer control system,the driver software must be developed to suit their needs. The driver software will makethe system poor in scalability, openness, reusability and interoperability, so it is imperativeto establish and popularize an effective data exchange industry standard. Based on this,Microsoft and some of the leading automation companies and some hardware/softwaresuppliers develop interface technology for industry-standard OPC (OLE for ProcessControl).Based on OPC Data Access specification customer, the side of the real-timemonitoring and lack of data processing implementation is proposed in the paper, whichbased on in-depth learning OPC technical specifications and the method to fill the missingvalues. The OPC client development and the filling of the missing values methods areintroduced in detail respectively.The OPC Data Access client that developed through the MATLAB language can besuccessful connection with the virtual server, which can access the real-time data in server.In order to facilitate the observation of data read and written, a control interface is write inGUIDE editor of MATLAB, which make the operation simple and intuitive. Forsubsequent data analysis and processing, the real-time data obtained is synchronizationstored in the spreadsheet EXCEL.In order to achieve real-time monitoring of OPC client to the server, real-timemonitoring system is designed, the developed OPC client is used in the monitoring system,and the real-time data of the amount coal in 1# Unit in Qinhuangdao Power Plant Unit 2Unit is acquired and written.The collected data exist the missing values in the data processing process of # 1 Unit,a new filling missing values method is proposed based on the existing missing valueimputation method, which is called Jiu Dian San filling method. In comparison with theexisting other three filling methods, we found that the proposed Jiu Dian San filling method has a small error and high precision in filling the missing values, and it has a verygood role to stabilize the entire system. The corresponding interface to fill the missingvalues is also prepared, which makes the whole comparison process more simple andintuitive.
