Requirement Analysis & Function Design Of Central Reservation System For Hotel Chains

This thesis mainly studies on "Requirement Analysis & Function Design of the Central Reservation System for TEDA International Hotel Group (TIHG-CRS) ".First of all, CRS is defined, and the related developing process is well-elaborated, meanwhile the characteristics of hospitality industry and the actuality of hotel reservation work are illuminated to the detail.On this foundation, this thesis describes and analyzes the operational demands for TEDA International Hotel Group to establish CRS through Use Case Driven Approach, and under these demands, presents the relevant mode to construct TIHG-CRS through analysis on hotel clients’management as well as global typical CRS functions. Then according to the above mode mentioned, together with the designing principles that should be followed, this thesis gives detailed elaboration on the general structure and all function modules of the finished TIHG-CRS.Lastly, this thesis predicts the future development direction for this CRS project to end this disquisition.This thesis may provide certain reference for those mini- middle scaled hotel chains in China to establish CRS in a correct and efficient way.
