The main problem of node resource management about streaming media is theoptimization choice of resource nodes. To improve the interactive ability of differentnodes in the system, how to evaluate the service ability of nodes and choose theresource nodes reasonably has been studied, and the characteristics of the wireless P2Pnetwork need to be considered, such as the traffic restrictions of network, the limit ofterminal process capability, and the mobility of terminal and so on. Therefore, this paperfocus on the study of node resource management of P2P streaming media in mobileinternet,which is the key of wireless P2P video streaming media system in mobileinternet. The main works are as follows:1) The wireless P2P video streaming media technologies which include networkarchitecture, resource discovery technology and session initiation and so on. The papermainly researches on discovery technology, describes domestic and foreign researchtrends, analyzes the characteristics of various plans, and proposes a suitable solution.2) The Scalable Video Coding technology which can not only guarantee theefficient of video compression, but also encode a video at a time to produce video codestreaming with different frame rate and resolution to meet the needs of differentterminal. And its layered characteristics can fit the requirement of node resourcemanagement with mobile and heterogeneous environment, and is applicable fordevelopment of mobile internet. Therefore, the study of Scalable Video Codingtechnology is the main work of the paper.3) As the differences about the ability of nodes in network, we proposequantifiable measurement indicators of node status based on the study of optimizationselection strategy of resource nodes about wireless P2P streaming media, whichimprove the interactive capability and sharing rate between different nodes, and enhancethe system performance.4) Design and develop a system model of Tracker server. First of all, achieve thecommunication protocol between Client and Tracker server. Then we develop theTracker module, and realize the debugging and testing. Finally, the communicationbetween Client and Tracker is achieved. Tests show that Client can communicate with the nodes which chosen by Tracker properly, and the video which can play smoothly isclear.
