Design And Implementation Of Two-dimensional Bar Code Verification System Based On Smartphone Platform

As the continuous development of two-dimensional bar code technology and improvement ofsmartphone performance, two-dimensional code on mobile phones has been widely promoted invarious industries, and brought great convenience to people’s life. With the continuous developmentof mobile network value-added service, the application of two-dimensional code on mobile phoneswill be more and more plentiful. The purpose of the paper is to design and realize a two-dimensionalcode recogniting verification system.Firstly, the paper discussed the application status of two-dimensional on mobile phone and putforward overall and detail design of the recogniting verification system according to the specificapplication.Next, the paper combined with main smartphone platform and respectively discussed theSymbian and Android smartphone platforms and related technology the system will use.Following, the paper uses QR code as an example for two-dimensional code, and then analysesthe QR code feature, encoding principle and error correction algorithm. After analyzing QR codefeature, researching image gray and realizing a binarization algorithm using improved histogrambased on edge feature, QR localization algorithm is designed using position detection graphics in QRcode. Meanwhile, the anti-perspective algorithm is used to rectify possible distortion of QR codeimage.Finally, the paper mainly discussed the realization of recogniting verification system based onSymbian and Android smartphone platforms. Decoding the QR code image through out the camera onthe phone, and then send the decoded information to a HTTP server to check through GPRS, theHTTP server will return different information according to different information sent. The system willprocess the returned information from HTTP server and then display on the phone.
