In the neurosurgery navigation system, preoperative identification of the local shift patterns ofwhite matter fiber and the distribution of major blood vessels is greatly propitious to the developmentof surgical planning. Intranperative surgical procedure guided by multi-modal fusion betweenthree-dimensional white matter fiber image, three-dimensional blood vessel image and structure ofimage avoids key organizations and functional areas. Besides, it avoids or protects specificneurological while possible removing the tumor to the maximum extent, which also reduces risk anddisability at the maximum rate, improving the safety of brain surgery and the quality of life aftersurgery.This issue focuses on the studies of the white matter fiber tracking and DTI visualization technique,the blood vessels extraction using MRI image and visualization technique. Firstly, the principle ofDTI diffusion tensor imaging is introduced. Based on the characteristics of DTI image, the diffusiontensor visualization techniques are researched, and diffusion tensor is estimated and displayed byusing least square methods based on wavelet; the arithmetic of Two-dimensional white matter fibertracking based on Monte-Carlo resolves the problem of outlier removing. Secondly, an improvedSobel algorithm combined with fuzzy theory is presented, which is used to extract the cerebralinformation of serial images and solve the contradiction between preservation of detail informationand high de-noising ability effectively. An improved ray casting volume rendering algorithm based onfusion segmentations is used to improve the rendering speed with a better rendering quality; CTthree-dimensional structure image and MRI three-dimensional image of blood vessels are fused bythree-dimensional fusion which combined with wavelet. Finally, system software design andprocedure compilation are finished based on VC++6.0.The innovations of this study are as follows:(1) Monte Carlo algorithm is introduced to whitematter fiber tracking, which resolves the problem of outlier removing.(2) An improved Sobelalgorithm combined with fuzzy theory is presented, which is used to extract the cerebral informationof serial images and solve the contradiction between preservation of detail information and highde-noising ability effectively...
