| Ship launching is the technical process to transfer ship from construction areainto water area. Ship launching by pontoon which has better security, better secrecyand better universality is a relatively new technical method and can guarantee shipsbuilt in different area launch one after the other.Some dangerous factors during the ship launching process which may bringdamage to partial structure hull of ship and launch facilities such as slipway orpontoon. Any slight negligence during the launch may cause grave accidents andeconomic losses. Therefore, we need to calculate analysis and evaluate the launchingscheme before ship launching to ensure the safety of the launch.During ship launching by pontoon, as the most important equipment, thestrength of pontoon is the most critical factor for launching successfully. So it haspractical value to design and develop software for drawing up and assessing launchscheme quickly. Firstly, the mechanical model of ship launching by pontoon isestablished. Secondly, the software of ship launching by pontoon is designed base onmatrix displacement method on VB. The software can quickly calculate the draught,bending moment and shearing of force of pontoon and reaction force of block duringship launching. The software has developed the functions of data inputting byEXCEL, loading display, result curve display and report automatically creating.Thirdly, use LPG ship for practice, the result from the software is compared with theresult from the commercial finite element software MSC.Nastran. It has been shownthat the software can accurately and efficiently calculate the draft, bending moment,shearing force of pontoon and the reaction force of block. The software has suchadvantages as facility of using, quick, and high accurate, can instruct technician inshipyard workout launch scheme. |
