WLAN has been widely used in the short distance communication field because of its high bandwidth and low cost. However, the coverage of WLAN access points and the moving speed of nodes are limited, which brings to the wireless network deployment serious limitations. Each node can transfer data in WLAN-mesh networks, so communication distance can be greatly extended. Its powerful networking flexibility and robustness can make information interaction work in the bad environment,so WLAN-mesh networks is widely used in military and civil fields. Therefore, the study and implementation of WLAN-mesh networks is of great significance.The paper gives out an implementation of optimization of link-state Routing protocol and real-time speech communication software in the Android platform after dissecting the principles of OLSR routing protocol. The main work is as follows:1. On a thorough analysis of the status of embedded system,We carry out a scheme of self-organization network design based on the IEEE 802.11 DCF model, hardware platform using the Tattoo smartphone, software platform using the Android operating system, the development of language using Java, the scheme makes full use of existing software and hardware resource, embodies the technology development trend.2. We made a series of customization and modification on the Android platform, after studying the Android System deeply. These modifications include obtain root permission,open Ad Hoc mode, add Wireless Externsions support,modify the boot image and so on.3. We gave out the implementation of OLSR protocol based on Android System,and we also tested the implementation fully. The result shows that our implementation is correct and feasible.4. This paper gave an exhaustive description on RTP protocol,analyze the protocol using scenarios.Afterward provided real-time speech communication software upon Android. Test result shows that the real-time speech communication software can accomplish voice transmission perfectly.
