Practical writing refers to regular form writing that people use in daily life and work tohandle affairs,exchange messages and deal with certain practical problems.With thedevelopment of society, practical writing is used more and more frequently in our life andwork.And its fuctionality also has great change.Nowadays,our nation are in great needs on highly skilled workers. Our secondaryvocational education aims at teaching such works which are needed in the front line ofproduction, construction and service. Under this requirement, the students’ comprehensiveabilities need to be enhanced. Writing ability is one of the abilities that the secondaryvocational school student must mastered. This writing ablity can meet the requirements fromour life,work and society. Practical writing class is one of the elementary courses insecondary vocational schools and plays an important role in developing the students practicalwriting abilty.At present,the condition of the students’practical wirting ability is not optimistic.It effects the develonpment of the Chinese teaching in secondary vocational schools andblocks the improvement of the comprehensive abilities of the highly skilled workers in thefuture. We must pay more attemtion and find the new way of practical writing teaching.The thesis focus on the following four parts:Part one, discuss the relationship between the practical writing teaching and thedevelopment of the secondary vocational school students from two aspects: the need ofpractical writing teaching in the development of secondary vocational education and thenecessity of the practical writing class.Part two,analysis the current condition of practical writing teaching in secondaryvocational schools from four aspects.Part three, analisis the aspects effects the practical writing teaching in secondaryvocational schools,such as the teachers ability, the students problem,the baldness of the classand the effects of the society. the author made effective investigation to every aspects.Part four, put forward the reform ideas and the countermeasures to the current conditon ofpractical writing teaching in secondary vocational schools.
