At present, English education has been paid more and more attention,which prominently displays in: the age of the educated is more and more earlyand English education is extending from the city to the countryside. In thiscontext, many kindergartens in towns carry out the children’s Englisheducation. How about the effect? What about the professional quality ofEnglish teachers who play a decisive role for young children in Englishteaching? This paper launched a discussion on the above issues.The first part is Introduction, it expounds four contents in brief, for examplethe introduction of problems,the purpose and meaning of the study,thedefinition of core concept, and literature review.The second part of the study design section. I select Zhang Qiao centerkindergarten in XuChang as case study, Miss H as cooperative partner sinceshe is the only English teacher in this kindergarten. I go deep into the researchfield, adopt many ways to collect case materials, for example,classroomobservation,interview, collecting materials and so on. At last, I clear up andanalyze the case materials.The third part, at first,I narrate the experience of Miss H,then I expoundthe current professional quality situation from three aspects: the professional attitude, professional knowledge and professional ability. Research resultsshow: Preschool English teachers’ professional identity in professional qualityis low, professional knowledge, especially English knowledge is not enough,teaching ability is not strong, research ability is weak and so on.The fourth part is some enlightenment obtained from this research. Forchildren’s English teacher, they should improve their professional qualitythrough their own efforts For the kindergarten managers, they should be stricton teacher “entrance” and combine with the actual situation of local to carryout children’s English education prudent. For parents, they should have asober understanding of education for young children English. For Preschoolteacher education departments, they should strengthen the training, focus onearly childhood English teacher training of reserve forces, implementpreschool English teacher qualification system, and promote the scientifictheory of education vigorously.If town center kindergartens want to carry out early childhood Englisheducation, they must have excellent teachers as safeguard,otherwise it willeventually end up in failure. I want this study can help kindergarten, parentsand education authorities to have a more scientific understanding on youngchildren English education in rural areas, to a certain extent reduce thephenomenon that unrealistic blindly carry out children English education.
