Peer conflict resolution strategy is very important for children’s peer interaction, existing research have shown that the constructive solving conflict have long-term social significance that children can master the appropriate social skill and improve social adaptability in the practice on conflict resolution. Domestic and foreign researchers have made wide-ranging researches around peer conflict resolution strategy, however, according to the literatures, we find that the research subject is single and lacking research on children; the contents more focus on the external factors but less researches on the relationship between peer conflict resolution strategy and self-control; research methods are main questionnaire survey but less other research methods validation and advanced statistics. This study which selected a group of114children who are three to six years old, and set up four common hypothesis on conflict situations which are goods robbery, verbal provocation, activity participation and interference control, investigated the characteristics of children’s peer conflict resolution strategy in the four conflict situations. In addition, by using questionnaire method on children’s self-control survey, this paper tries to dig deeply the relationship between peer conflict resolution strategy and self-control, and perfect the theoretical research. Therefore, to provide recommendations for teachers to guiding children who have different self-control ability to solve peer conflict. Draw conclusions as follows:1. There are significant differences in children’s peer conflict resolution strategy in different conflict situations. The study found that, in goods robbery and interference control conflicts, children mainly use plaint and attack strategies; in verbal provocation conflict, children use negotiation strategy constantly; in activity participation conflict, children tend to use forbearance strategy.2. There are significant age differences, urban and rural differences, but no significant gender differences in children’s peer conflict resolution strategy in different conflict situations. The study found that, in goods robbery conflict, there are significant age differences in the strategies of plaint, attack, negotiation and forbearance; in verbal provocation and interference control conflicts, there are significant age differences in the strategies of attack and negotiation; in activity participation conflict, and there are significant age differences in the strategies of plaint and negotiation. At the same time, in goods robbery, activity participation, and interference control conflicts, there are no significant differences on urban and rural in children’s peer conflict resolution strategy; but in verbal provocation conflict, there are significant urban and rural differences in the strategies of negotiation. In addition, the study found that, in goods robbery, verbal provocation, activity participation, and interference control conflicts, there are no significant gender differences in children’s peer conflict resolution strategy.3. There are significant differences in self-control in children’s peer conflict resolution strategy, high score group mainly use negotiation and forbearance strategy, and low score group tend to use plaint and attack strategy. To be specific, in verbal provocation conflict, there are significant differences in the strategies of attack, negotiation and forbearance; in activity participation conflict, there are significant differences in the strategies of plaint and negotiation; in interference control conflict, there are significant differences in the strategies of plaint; but in goods robbery conflict, there are no significant differences in children’s peer conflict resolution strategy.
