Study On The Present Situation Of The Countermeasure Of Political Mentality Education For Contemporary College Students

Since the May4th Movement, college students play an important role in Chinese political arena. Their political mentalities affect the development of Chinese politics. With the development of China’s economy, politics and culture, contemporary college students pay more attention to the development of Chinese political situation. Facing the different political events and policies, they have different political mentalities. In addition, the political mentality of contemporary college students is a hot issues of study. And academia pay great attention to it. So the study of contemporary college students’ political mentality has important theoretical and practical significances.This paper uses the literature analysis and questionnaire survey and take example by psychology, sociology, political science and other disciplines theory. Through combination of theory and practice, the paper study on the status quo of contemporary college students’ political mentality and education strategy. This thesis can be divided into five main parts. They are preface, text, epilogue, literature and appendix.The preface of embodies the contemporary significance and have a brief overview of the situation for college students’ political mentality and the academic achievement. Through the clear logical thinking, the paper expatiates theoretical and practical significance.The first chapter, the connotation of the college students’ political mentality and the topic research significance. Using the method of literature to define mentality and political mentality. At the same time, using the comparative and analytic method to instruct the relationship of political mentality, political psychology and Political consciousness. Based on this, the paper expounds the connotation of the contemporary college students’ political mentality. Finally, this part expound the theoretical and practical research significance of this topic. The second chapter, the status quo of contemporary college students’ political mentality.Using the questionnaire survey analyse contemporary college students’ positive political mentalities and the negative performances. The positive performances is that most students’ cognitives tend to be rational, political emotions tend to be sensible, political evaluations tend to be more objective and more positive for political participations. But some students still have negative political mentalities, the performances are that some of the college students’ cognitives fuzzy, political emotional expressions extreme and the low motivations of Political participation.On the basis, to analyse the causes of the formation for negative political mentality of contemporary university students. Basically, there are four aspects:the deviation of ideological and political work in colleges,families are lack of political education, the negative influence of contemporary college students’ own factors and the negative impact of social environment.The third chapter, educational guided strategies of contemporary college students’ political mentality. According to cause, based on colleges and universities, the part raise many good development of strategy to guide college students’ political mentality. Basically, there are four aspects:playing a main channel role of ideological and political theory course, strengthening university student daily ideological and political education, paying great attention to college students’ management and evaluation of political orientation, forming the united effcts with school, family and society.The conclusion emphasizes the logical thinking of this topic. The topic is a hot and difficult academic discussion. There are many important significances. At the same time,the research is insufficient.
