The physical and psychological of junior high school students will change dramatically in the junior secondary level. And the same time, their outlooks on life and values have great plasticity. So how to develop their correct educational value orientation has great significance. The educational value orientation of middle school students, is the understanding tendency which is about the significance of receiving education, and is the internalization of educational value concept. It not only has the practical character, but also affects the quality of students’ learning and personal development. And its prominent role is to decide and control the choice of educational value. Due to the differences between the city and the vast rural areas in natural environment and social environment, the rural junior high school students formed a kind of appropriate educational value orientation. These different educational value orientations affected the students’ practical activities from various aspects, So that they made a different choice with the provided education. The increasing number of rural junior high school dropout students is becoming a serious problem to the teachers and the headmaster. This study through the field survey of the countryside junior high school dropout students’ educational value orientation, aims to find out the deviation reason of it, and come up with some instructive suggestions and new ideas to solve the problem. This report is divided into four parts:The first part introduces the background and meaning of the topic, and related research overview. It also defines the important concepts in this study. The second part realizes the current status of rural junior high school students’educational value orientation by questionnaire, and analyses the data. The third part is to find out the deviation reason of the countryside junior high school dropout students’ educational value orientation, and analyses the reason mainly from objective and subjective points. The fourth part carries out some instructive suggestions, and respectively from the perspective of school, family, society to lead the countryside junior high school students to form the correct educational value orientation.
