The indisputable fact that the aging of rural population is becoming more and more severe.Using date from the2005one’s percent population sample survey,the paper shows the rural population accounts for57.01%of the aging in rural areas reaches13.73%. And it is higher than that in the cities.The aging of rural population aggravates the support burden of families in the countryside. As a result of the profound impact from institutions and culture plus the unbalanced development of modern gender culture, families with only female offspring(s) under the Planned Birth Policy are overburdened by the problem to support the aged.For families with only female offspring(s) make contribution to China,our government should take every effort to deal with the supporting problem.Undoubtedly,the meaning is signality.Interviews with13families with only female offspring(s) in rural area under the Planned Birth Policy in T village in the view of gender analyse the original cause in aspects of culture, institutes and finance, which discourages families with only female offspring(s) under the Planned Birth Policy. However, according to interviews, society support, especially government support for families with no son only in economic aspect while the ideological basis which discourage daughters to support the aged is rarely suppressed. To some extent, customs such as male decided residence tradition, male inheritance and gender culture are uncrossable mountains for the female offsprings families especially families with only female offspring(s) under the Planned Birth Policy regardless of their financial condition. Families with no son are vulnerable in a patriarchy, and families with only female offspring(s) under the Planned Birth Policy are even more vulnerable. The difficulty to support the aged in families with only female offspring(s) under the Planned Birth Policy is right the historical accumulation of female disadvantage exhibited in modern society.For a great gap between Female and Male in aspects of culture,institutes and finance etcetera,difficulty in supporting the aged will bother families with no son for a long time. The author results that the operating institution and custom will be prominent until finding a proper strategy to replace it. Nevertheless, the present institution and culture fit in some respects, thus the author assess them as the necessary evil to a certain degree. Acquisition of solution to the problem calls for every one of us to strive.
